Lori Winters Fan ’80
Executive Director Alumni Relations
I found my way “back home” to Bradley in 1997, just as our Centennial Celebration was coming to an end. What a wonderful way to be oriented to what was, for me, a completely “new” Bradley University! Having been gone 17 years, I was astounded at the changes our alma mater had seen, and in the years since, I’ve had the privilege of watching hundreds of fellow alumni experience those same feelings of pride as I’ve escorted campus tours, hosted reunions, or spoken to alumni groups across the country. Alumni – by sharing their memories, achievements, talents, and treasures – remind me daily just what a wonderful institution Bradley is, and how important it is that we all work together to secure its future. Thank YOU for making my job so fun and rewarding!
Trish
Blattenberger
Event Coordinator
I’m excited about my new position as Event Coordinator for the Office of Alumni Relations. Our office works diligently with alumni, students, athletics, admissions and other departments across campus to provide meaningful events that help connect people back to Bradley. There’s such energy and enthusiasm on campus that can be harnessed to help make homecoming, alumni weekend and all of our events vibrant celebrations of this great institution. The most rewarding part of my job is when I have the opportunity to meet the alumni with whom I've conversed over the telephone or with whom I’ve corresponded via e-mail. I am also the proud parent of a future Bradley alumnus, Class of 2018! Do you have event ideas? Please e-mail me at pblattenberger@bradley.edu or call 309-677-2241.
Reggie Bustinza ’03
Associate Director, Constituent Group Programs
My father has worked at Bradley my whole
life, and my two sisters have also attended
school here, so I grew up in the Bradley
University tradition. Having graduated
in 2003, I am very pleased to have the
opportunity to come back to Bradley as
an employee. My experience primarily
lies in the event business, planning
everything from festivals to concerts to reunions.
I am looking forward to bringing that
experience into play as I work with chapters
and affinity groups to assist them in
their event planning.
Dea Engelbrecht
Receptionist
I was fortunate enough to join the Bradley family in 2003. Prior to coming to Bradley, I was a paralegal for eight years. I feel truly blessed to have such a wonderful job and the best team of co-workers I have ever had the pleasure of working with. My duties include accounting, general office management, welcoming our students and alumni to the Alumni Center, responding to correspondence and e-mails, answering telephones, maintaining the database, and assisting with event reservations. I also provide support for the rest of our terrific staff. Interaction with students and alumni, building friendships, and getting the opportunity to hear all of your great stories and memories is just a personal bonus. I can honestly say that I enjoy coming to work every single day. Plus, I feel compelled to brag that the Bradley University Alumni Association has the most dedicated, ambitious and talented group of volunteers and board members. They truly have done and continue to do great things for BU. High praises and thanks to each and every one of them!!
Julie Holmes ’06
Associate Director, Student and Young Alumni Programs
Having graduated from Bradley in May 2006, I never really left my alma mater. As a student, I was one of many smiling Bradley Fund callers who loved listening to your Bradley experiences. I still love to hear about your experiences, only now I get to hear them in person. Here at the Alumni Office, I advise our student alumni association, the Ambassadors and work closely with young alumni volunteers through the BRAVO and class agent programs. I also enjoy working with our student and young alumni committee to cultivate engaging program ideas for our students. One of the best parts about my job is that I get to share my enthusiasm for Bradley with many alumni and students.
Dana Meister
Secretary
I have been at Bradley for many years but am a new member of the Alumni Relations family. I will be working as Lori Fan’s administrative support and with the Board of Directors and Committees. I am very excited to be a part of this office. The energy and enthusiasm that they share with everyone makes my job very enjoyable and fulfilling. I look forward to meeting and getting to know all the alumni, board members, volunteers and students that our office interacts with. In the short time that I have been with this office, I can truly say that I feel very much at home.
Gail Reynolds
Communications and Graphic Design
With over seven years on the Alumni
Relations staff, and MANY more than that
at Bradley, the University has pretty
much become my second home. I have the
fun job of designing the print pieces
you receive in the mail and overseeing
the alumni web site. If I could pick
what job I enjoy working on the
most, it would be putting together the
50th Reunion Directory. I love reading
the biographies that I receive to put
in the directory and seeing the recent
photos alumni send to put with their
biography. The icing on the cake is finding
their senior photo in the Anaga
and comparing the past to the present! They're such an inspiration
to us in the Alumni office and we value
their desire to stay connected
to Bradley University!
