Connie LaJoyce Johnson ’91

Connie Johnson has been blessed with many talents, and she’s made the most of them in her career and in her community. Since graduating from Bradley in 1991, she has built a successful career as a corporate defense attorney working in litigation and corporate services. Then in 2000, eager to be an advocate for those whose voices are not heard, Johnson was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives, where she currently serves as the House Minority Whip. More>

Katie Lee ’06

Katie Lee graduated from Bradley in 2006 with a major in Radio & TV and a minor in Professional Writing. Within two weeks of graduation she was off to New York to follow her dream, having been hired as an assistant on ABC’s “The View” to work with celebrities Barbara Walters and Rosie O’Donnell. More>

Joseph McElmeel ’97

Joseph McElmeel graduated from Bradley University in 1997 with degrees in both Music Performance and Business Management. Over the last ten years he has been able to develop both as a musician and a businessman. He has performed throughout the US and abroad including touring with his bands in Tokyo and with the USO. In addition to performing, he also manages and promotes other up-and-coming groups and runs a music camp for kids during the summer. He has truly been able to find a wonderful mix of both of his educational backgrounds. More>

As a student at Bradley, Hari Nair’s most memorable Bradley hangout was Williams’ cafeteria where he worked as a dishwasher.  His favorite professor, John McNabb, taught him to think beyond the little world of “engineering” and consider non-technical elements in support of an engineering solution. Well, as of this letter, I am 22 years old. I will be 23 in May. I was born in Anchorage, Alaska, spent my early childhood in Germany and my teen years in New Baden, Illinois. I went to high school at Mascoutah Community High School and while there, was active in the Band, Choir, Show Choir, Drama Club, Spanish Club, Beta Club, Student Council, National Honor Society, and being a teen. I loved high school, but absolutely hated PE! More>


Sal Tinajero ’95

Sal Tinajero started cheering for Bradley as a student when he was a member of the Cheer Squad and he hasn’t stopped since. The teacher and coach of the Fullerton Union High School Speech and Debate team in Fullerton, California, currently has five (5) former students enrolled at Bradley and two (2) additional students starting in the fall.  More>

Dr. David Vroman

While not every student or alumni may be able to say that they had Dr. Vroman as a professor, or could even tell you what department he is under, most could probably recognize him upon sight. He’s been standing behind the goal post at Carver Arena for just over 22 years now as the Director of Bands (including the basketball band)and Chairperson of the Music Department.
