Jordan Ticaric
If you visit a campus event you will likely see her smiling face. Student Body President, Jordan Ticaric is making the most of her Bradley experience by getting involved on campus and making the student voice heard.
Throughout her four years at Bradley, Jordan Ticaric has participated in various campus organizations including Student Senate, Chi Omega sorority, American Advertising Federation, Bradley Fellows, and the Student Advisory Council. The volunteer work she has done with several of these organizations opened doors to work with people who are passionate about helping others. Being a willing volunteer has allowed Ticaric to participate in many committees organized to better our campus. She was a part of the Presidential Search Committee and is now serving on the Accreditation Steering Committee as Bradley nears its new accreditation process.
Not only did organizational involvement help shape who she is today, but her professors and mentors have made a significant impact. One of her favorite professors is Matt O’Brien, who put a fresh spin on marketing classes for his students. Ticaric works in the student activities office and has found one of her closest mentors to be Michelle Whited, Director of Student Activities. She appreciates the honest advice and the commitment Whited extends to helping students during their time at Bradley.
As graduation nears for Ticaric, she is looking forward to the future. She will have a major in advertising with minors in marketing and psychology. She will begin graduate school in the fall at Bradley University for her Masters in Business Administration. Her career goal is to become an account supervisor at Leo Burnett in Chicago, and one day, open her own ad agency. Her advice for incoming freshman: “You have four years at Bradley. You get to decide who you want to be; what you want to do; and how people will remember you.”
