General Information
The mission of the BUBAA, formed in 2006, is to unite black alumni under an organization which represents its common interests and builds enduring, mutually-rewarding relationships between Bradley University, students, and its black alumni.
Want to participate on a BUBAA Committee?
Each committee meets throughout the year via phone and in person. If you would like to join or have any questions please contact Mike Davis, mrdavis@alum.bradley.edu or (773) 363-0819. A brief description of each committee is outlined below:
The Marketing & Communications committee utilizes tools such as the quarterly BUBAA Newsletter and Internet Social Media to facilitate communication between alumni, students, and the University, as well as to provide greater visibility for new and existing benefits and opportunities to BUBAA membership.
• Volunteers with interests in writing and graphic arts are needed to plan and execute the communication and marketing goals of BUBAA.
The Membership & Events committee plans activities and events that engage BUBAA’s membership.
• Volunteers who can plan, host, or sponsor engaging BUBAA events are needed.
The Scholarship committee works with the University to develop strategies to strengthen BUBAA Scholarships.
• Volunteers who want to strategize fundraising plans and help grow BUBAA scholarships are needed.
