A Message from the President

Once a Brave, Always a Brave!

On behalf of the Bradley University Alumni Association (BUAA) Board of Directors, it is my pleasure to welcome you back to the hilltop, whether you are physically in Peoria or visit virtually via the internet.

The BUAA is available to support your lifelong connection with Bradley University by enabling your access to faculty, staff, students, and our worldwide network of over 70,000 proud alumni.

I am very proud to be a graduate of Bradley University and am committed to serving our University. Our BUAA has made it easy for you to expand your Bradley Alumni experience or perhaps reengage with your alma mater. Wherever you live or whatever currently fills your days, you can continue your hilltop experience through the many BUAA offerings:

Attending an Event

Bradley events are scheduled on campus and throughout the country. You are invited and encouraged to both participate & volunteer…please bring your friends, neighbors and potential student families, too! Visit our online event calendar to find an activity near you.

Hosting an Event

Alums are needed to host Bradley Alumni & Admissions events in their home cities. Let us know if you would like to help host or coordinate activities in your area. Contact the alumni office for more information at 800-952-8258.

Coming Back to Campus

With a walk around the hilltop, the investments in our campus are evident. Your visit “must see” list should include:

  • Markin Family Student Recreation Center – State-of-the-art fitness facility
  • Renaissance Coliseum – Former site of Robertson Memorial Field House, 4,200-seat facility
  • Hayden-Clark Alumni Center – 34,700-square-foot facility includes a high-quality ballroom seating more than 200 guests, an alumni library, conference rooms, and an alumni hall of pride as well as home to the Office of Alumni Relations

A Message from the Vice President

Your alma mater is working very hard to strengthen the bond between its alumni and the university. Alumni are crucial to the present and, most importantly, the future of Bradley University. Her success depends on a thriving, energetic, and engaged alumni base in order to advance the best interests of the university. The Bradley University Alumni Association (BUAA) was created more than 100 years ago to serve and engage all alumni – and future alumni – for this purpose.

We understand just how important your connection to Bradley is. Through this web site, along with the online community BUconnect, we will keep you informed about the limitless opportunities available to you to interact with your university, your classmates, or your professional colleagues. If you have not been engaged with Bradley, I encourage you to browse our web site to begin. Take a fresh look at the services we will provide you and the opportunities for you to reconnect with that part of your Bradley experience you most cherish.

Today, we number more than 70,000 alumni worldwide. Both the Alumni Association and the Department of Alumni Relations have worked diligently to better serve our broad constituency. We continue to be a “work in progress” as they say, and therefore welcome your comments and feedback about how we’re doing, and how we can better serve.

You chose Bradley for your higher education. Now, choose Bradley again—choose to connect, choose to engage, choose to serve. Together, we can ensure Bradley's future as an institution of national distinction. The best is yet to come!
