A Message from the President

It is my pleasure to welcome you back to the Hilltop, on behalf of the Bradley University Alumni Association (BUAA) Board of Directors.

I believe that many of the good things in our lives today can be traced back in part to our Bradley experience. The BUAA is here to support your lifelong connection with the University, its faculty, staff and our worldwide network of over 65,000 proud alumni.

There are numerous ways to stay engaged with Bradley:

Attend an Event: Bradley events are scheduled on campus and throughout the country. Check the online event calendar for upcoming events near you and feel free to invite friends, family and potential students. We are always looking for volunteers to host or help coordinate events in their area. If this is something of interest to you, contact the alumni office for more information at (800) 952-8258.

Connect via Social Media:
Join our BUAA Facebook page, Twitter, etc. and see what’s going on “all things Alumni” and on campus. Post and view pictures from Bradley events around the country. Virtually join us for Rise of the Red Fridays, and sport your school colors and post a picture!

Come Back to Campus: If it’s been awhile since you’ve last been on the Hilltop, you will be amazed by the recent additions to our campus.

Westlake Hall has been remodeled. While it maintains its original façade, it is double its original footprint, features an auditorium, “smart” classrooms, and laboratories while meeting LEED gold certification.

The Markin Family Student Recreation Center is a state of the art fitness facility that features a climbing wall, indoor jogging track and Olympic sized pool.

Renaissance Coliseum now sits at the site once occupied by Robertson Memorial Field House. It is a 4,200 seat arena that is home to our Athletics Department and special events venue.

No visit to campus would be complete without a visit to the Hayden-Clark Alumni Center; which is a 34,700 square foot facility that features a ballroom that seats more than 200 guests, an alumni library, conference rooms, an alumni hall of pride and is home to the Office of Alumni Relations.

Follow Your Favorite Bradley Sports Teams: In addition to playing in venues around the country, many of your favorite Bradley Teams can be seen live on ESPN3, the online version in the ESPN family.

Hire Bradley Students: Connect with the Smith Career Center at when you are posting openings at your company, or come back for one of the on-campus job fairs throughout the year and hire Bradley students! By the way the Smith Career Center resources are available to alumni as well.

Volunteer: There are many ways to volunteer with the BUAA, visit our “Get Involved” page, complete an application and find out what fits best for you.

Ask your kids, grandkids and children of friends and colleagues to consider attending Bradley. The Bradley experience is transformational. Don’t hesitate to share yours.

Consider Giving Back to Bradley. Remember that the amount that you give is not nearly as important as the thought and action. It helps insure that students for generations to come will be able to share in the Bradley experience.

Once a Brave Always a Brave! Thanks so much for stopping by. Please stay connected; we really appreciate you.

All the Best!

A Message from the Vice President for Advancement

Your alma mater is working very hard to strengthen the bond between its alumni and the university. Alumni are crucial to the present and, most importantly, the future of Bradley University. Her success depends on a thriving, energetic, and engaged alumni base in order to advance the best interests of the university. The Bradley University Alumni Association (BUAA) was created more than 100 years ago to serve and engage all alumni – and future alumni – for this purpose.

We understand just how important your connection to Bradley is. Through this web site, along with the online community BUconnect, we will keep you informed about the limitless opportunities available to you to interact with your university, your classmates, or your professional colleagues. If you have not been engaged with Bradley, I encourage you to browse our web site to begin. Take a fresh look at the services we will provide you and the opportunities for you to reconnect with that part of your Bradley experience you most cherish.

Today, we number more than 70,000 alumni worldwide. Both the Alumni Association and the Department of Alumni Relations have worked diligently to better serve our broad constituency. We continue to be a “work in progress” as they say, and therefore welcome your comments and feedback about how we’re doing, and how we can better serve.

You chose Bradley for your higher education. Now, choose Bradley again—choose to connect, choose to engage, choose to serve. Together, we can ensure Bradley's future as an institution of national distinction. The best is yet to come!
