How Can I Become Involved

Like so many other students you were probably pretty involved while you attended Bradley; either in leadership or service, the band, the theatre, greek life or student government. Now that you are an alum, you are probably wondering if there are ways that you can still be involved with Bradley University. And then answer is ABSOLUTELY!

There may be an Alumni Chapter in your area that you can become involved with through social or service events. We also have several special interest groups that are forming to provide alumni who have a special affinity to a particular student organization or academic group another opportunity to socialize and network. Or perhaps you were involved with leadership and volunteerism at BU and would like to continue those activities. We have many opportunities for alumni to serve as mentors by volunteering for Mentoring at BU, an online service of the career services center. As a BrAVO (BRadley Alumni Volunteer Organization) member, you can also help recruit prospective students by staffing college fairs in your area and speaking with prospective families about your Bradley experience. For more information on these volunteer opportunities and to learn how you can get involved, contact Lori Fan at llw@bradley.edu.

Getting involved may simply mean that you attend several of the alumni events that take place throughout the year. Check out our online Alumni Calendar for more information on events both on campus and in your area. The Alumni Association and our chapters offers programs throughout the year that include television viewing parties, homecoming events, alumni weekend events, speakers and theatre outings.
